Ackroyd Lowrie’s Flexicity design features on front cover of latest Property Week

Ackroyd Lowrie’s design for an ultra-urban logistics hub has been featured on the latest cover of Property Week’s Industrial and Logistics supplement.

One of six architecture practices asked by Property Week and Savills to combine residential and light industrial to create a ‘shed of the future’, with an emphasis on last mile distribution.

Flexicity from Ackroyd Lowrie is a response to the demand for continuous change and a framework that allows individual elements to work together in harmony. It is a 'long-life' structure, with changing 'loose fit' infills that can be adapted over time using the latest technology. In a world of increasingly scarce resources, the most important thing we can do is build robust infrastructure that can be adapted to allow for continuously changing requirements.
