To Scale Open Studio Collaboration
Massive thanks to all the students who joined us for last week’s Open Studio workshop!
In collaboration with To Scale, our Associate Architect, Antoine Reaud hosted an open evening in our studio to mentor Part I and II architecture graduates with feedback on their portfolio, CV or career aspirations.
Open Studio by To Scale is a mentoring programme which encourages architecture students and graduates, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds and ethnic minorities, to understand more about the industry and how they can be successful with job applications.
As a practice mentor, we were able to provide the students with an overview of Ackroyd Lowrie and life in practice, before breaking into smaller groups for detailed feedback sessions and light networking.
To Scale’s Creative Director, Sana Tabassum said: “A huge thank you to the entire Ackroyd Lowrie team for the Open Studio. This was the first time some of these young people had been in an architectural studio, or even met a real-life architect, and afterwards many of them said how helpful it had been. Thanks for making it such a success.”
