Marta Allona

Associate Director

Highly creative and hardworking, she designed and built her first project before turning 25: a brutalist yet minimal home for which she not only drafted all the technical drawings but also Project Managed the construction. The process made her a complete architect and better designer: experienced with building materials, structure, technical installations, and sustainability techniques. She also designed and hand-built most of the bespoke furniture pieces.

Before moving to London, she studied and worked in Spain, Germany, India, Israel, and Peru. In Lima, she worked as a Project Architect for larger-scale residential and commercial projects now under construction. She also led the design of cultural and educational projects from conception to approved planning and participated in competitions.

ARB registered with a minor in structural engineering, she considers herself a designer first, with an appreciation for fine craft, a keen eye for details and great tenacity to make her drawings become reality.
